Multiple Options for Adding Pick-Ticket Items

  1. Right click in the items panel and select ‘Add Row’ Add Rowfrom the pop-up context menu (alternatively, you can click the ‘Insert’ key)

  2. Click the ‘Import’ Importdropdown show available import options.

  3. Select the desired option (for this example, we’ll select import from Allocated Inventory.

  4. When all of your desired items are placed on the pick ticket, click the ‘Released’ checkbox to send it to the ‘Pick Tickets’ sub-tab on the Inventory tab.

Individual Pick Tickets can be managed at the project level or globally via the ‘Pick Tickets’ sub-tab on the Inventory form. Typically, a particular role will be assigned to a task to pull materials and those individuals fulfilling that role will monitor the Pick Tickets queue on the Inventory form.

Printing the Pick Ticket

  1. Click the Print button.

  2. Select your desired Pick-Ticket Report

  3. Click OK.

Once items have been gathered (or no later than immediately after they have been cut, machined, or assembled), it’s time to consume them, to keep the inventory ‘on-hand’ and ‘Available’ quantities accurate.

This can be done either at the project level, or globally, from the queue found by navigating to:
Inventory->Pick Tickets.

Consuming via Project->Materials/Purchasing->Pick Tickets

  1. Right click anywhere in the items list to open a pop-up context menu.

  2. Select either ‘Consume’ or ‘Consume All’ from the list.

Consume…

Use ‘Consume’ for one item at a time. When you select this option, you get a pop-up where you can edit the actual number of items that were consumed, if different than what was initially planned.

Click and drag to highlight multiple rows, or using your CTRL + left click, you can select multiple rows to consume.
You’ll receive a message with confirmation for each item to be consumed:

Consuming via Inventory->Pick Tickets

  1. Navigate to the Inventory Form

  2. Select the Pick Tickets sub-tab.

  3. Right click anywhere in the items list.

  4. Select Consume… or Consume All.

Tip

Utilizing Pick Tickets from the Inventory form provides greater “big-picture” optics on ALL projects, not just a single project. Additional options for filtering include the ability to filter on Ticket, Project, Phase, Source, Destination, Flag, and Label.
