Introduction
The labor section is another important part of Crows Nest software with two main applications:
Estimates
Labor rates (per hour) are pre-set depending on the category, department and operation that is required for the specific project take off. Summary Labor and Material costs can then be quickly viewed here.
Project Cost
When the above labor is combined with materials costs the estimator can efficiently calculate an overall project costing.

Components of Labor |
There are a number of components to the Labor section as indicated on the right side. Most of the components are set under Settings → Options → Labor.
This allows the setting of Labor Categories, Departments, Operations and the associate rates, both regular time and overtime.
