This illustrated example uses the Invoices* folder. The steps can be used for any folder.
Default folder locations are found here: Menu bar > Settings > Options > Folders
View folder location
Right-click inside panel Project Sub Folders > Folder 1:
Hover over menu item Clear Default Location for >
View current default sub-folder location: “ProjectFolder1\Invoices\” . . . or (not set)
Set folder location
Right-click the Invoices* sub-folder.
Hover over menu item Set Default Location for >
Select sub-menu item Invoices* to designate that folder for invoices.
Validate folder location
Ensure the Invoices* folder exists in these locations:
Settings > Options > Project Sub Folders > Folder 1:
Project > Documents > Folders
Set option: Auto-Create Folders
Crows Nest can create a folder for each invoice so you can access them here:
Project > Documents > Folders > Invoices*
Turn on by checking the [Auto] box for Invoices* here:
Settings > Options > Folders > Auto-Create Folders
