Employee Labor Components

Under Employees on the toolbar and selecting the Labor tab, you can set the following:

  1. Payroll:

  • The Payroll group the employee is assigned to. This is useful for:

    • Applying time off to a group of employees.

    • Filtering by Payroll groups.

    • Reporting on labor costs per employee group.

  • Set the hourly wage for the employee.

  • Wage history:

    • A record is created here every time an increase is applied to include amount, effective date and any extra notes.

  • Taxes:

    • The employees tax details are added in this section.


  1. Time Clock-Clocking in settings

In this section you can set the following:

  • If the employee is to be shown on the timeclock.

  • If the GPS position is required when clocked in on the mobile APP.

  • Default Departments and Operations can be assigned to the employee.

  • Lunch period: a specific time period can be assigned to a lunch period, which can be clocked out for.

  • Supervisor: A supervisor can be assigned to an employee.

  • Timesheet: Default hours that the employee is allocated to work, this is considered Regular Time and outside these hours will be calculated as Over Time.


  1. Capacity-Daily capacities and capacities per department

Capacity is an important part of scheduling of resources for projects, here settings are available for:

  • Daily capacity hours for each day of the week, employees were not have full availability for the week and this can be adjusted here for each day.

  • Department Capacity:

    • Add/Delete a department capacity for the employee.

    • Set capacity percentage for the particular department for the employee.
