Use Parts Lists to make reordering parts & materials that are routinely kept on-hand easy. By setting minimum (Min) and maximum (Max) quantities, you can then create purchase orders that automatically set the desired order quantity to bring your on-hand numbers up to your ‘Max’ threshold.

Adding Parts to a Part List
From the ribbon menu, navigate to the Part List form.
Before adding parts to a parts list, the list needs to be created.
Click the drop-down to see your existing Parts Lists.
If the parts list you’re looking for doesn't exist, click the ‘New List’ button.
Give your new list a name. for this example, we’ll create a new list called ‘Edgebanding’.
Click ‘OK’.
To add a single part at-a-time, click ‘Add Part’.
Use the ‘Search’ field to narrow your list, or;
Filter your list by selecting one or more of the Category, Sub-category, Vendor Pricing, or Project Parts filters.
Select the part you want to add to the list.
Click ‘OK’.
Adding Parts in Bulk
The method above allows you to quickly add a part to your Part List one-part-at-a-time. However, there is an easy way to add parts in-bulk from the Parts form.
From the ribbon menu, navigate to the Parts form.
Click on the ‘Any’ link in the Filter Category field 'to open a pop-up menu to choose the category to filter by.
Select a Category.
Click ‘OK’.
In any one of the columns, highlight the rows that you want to add to a Part List.
Right-click on the last highlighted row to open a pop-up context menu.
Select ‘Add to Part List’
Select your desired Part List from the pop-up.
Click ‘OK’.
Click ‘OK’ to close the pop-up acknowledging the parts that were successfully copied.
In addition to the method shown in Step-6, you can also hold down the CTRL key while clicking rows with your mouse to select multiple parts to copy to a Part List.
