Crows Nest software is organized around Projects and Tasks.
Projects are the control center for contracts, scheduling, ordering and production.
Tasks are generated from plans and schedules, and assigned to Employees for completion.
This diagram shows how a Project connects with the other modules (briefly explained below).

Employee | A person employed for wages or salary at your business |
Drawing | Technical drawing for a project |
Transmittal | Documents transferred from one business to another |
Request for Information (RFI) | Used to learn what a supplier can provide |
Request for Quote (RFQ) | Used to get quotes for products or services |
Change Order | Documents any work added or deleted from the original scope of a contract |
Materials Request (MR) | Lists materials that will be needed for a project |
Pick Ticket | List of items to transfer from the warehouse to a specific project |
Manifest | List of items to be shipped for your project |
Invoice | Statement of payment due for goods and services provided |
