Phase templates are developed to cater for:

  • Recurring use of the same phase/works order and tasks within a projects.

Depending on the works Order, it may require one or many different tasks to complete. These tasks are often reused within projects as projects can have many works orders. Creating works order templates enables reuse and the selection of only the required templates to complete the works orderPhases or works orders are built of tasks. Different phases will have different tasks associated with them. Developing templates allow the selection of the appropriate number and sequence of tasks for the phase.

For example a standard works order template may have cutting, planning, sanding and finishing, while another may have cutting, routing and assembly. Having both templates at hand reduces editing time of either template before application.
