Phase templates

Phase templates are developed to cater for:

  • Recurring use of the same phase (works order) and their tasks within a projects.

Phases or works orders are built of tasks. Different phases will have different tasks associated with them. Developing templates allow the selection of the appropriate number and sequence of tasks for the phase.

For example a standard works order template may have cutting, planning, sanding and finishing, while another may have cutting, routing and assembly. Having both templates at hand reduces editing time of either template before application.

Phase templates are created under Settings → Edit Templates:

  • Select the type of template you want to create or Edit

    • Works Order

    • MR

    • Manifest

In this case we are creating or editing a works order/phase template, so we select this option.

  • Highlight an existing template or right click to create a new template
