Create a color
Method 1: direct entry
Open the “Edit Colors” form: Menu bar > Purchasing > Colors
Click the “Add New Color” button.
A new color item appears in the list with the default name “New Color.”
Method 2: on the fly
Open the “Colors” form: Project form > Materials/Purchasing tab > Colors sub-tab
Right-click the list and select “Add New” to open the “Select a Color” window.
Right-click the color list and select “Add New” to open the “Add/Edit Color” window.
Enter a color name and click OK to create.

Add a color to a project
Open the Project form > Materials/Purchasing tab > Colors sub-tab.
Right-click in the gray pane below and select “Add” to open the “Select a Color” window.
Add an existing color: select the color and click OK.
Add a new color: go to > “Create a color” above.
Copy a color to samples
Another useful feature is the ability to copy a color to the Samples tab. Right-click the color and select Copy to Samples.
You'll see a verification window pop up. Click OK.
Now click the Samples tab.
You'll now see the Color in the Samples tab.
