The Event Calendar allows users to effortlessly display a wide range of events, including birthdays, anniversaries, time-off requests, as well as Project, Phase, and individual Task dates. This versatility ensures that users can manage both personal and professional events within a single, centralized platform.

Intuitive Filtering Options:

Users can streamline their view by filtering events based on various criteria such as Project, Phase, Labor Department, Operation, Employee, and Task. This level of granularity ensures that individuals can focus on the events most relevant to their responsibilities, enhancing efficiency and reducing information overload.

Color-Coding for Easy Identification:

Assigning colors to different types of events adds a visual layer to the calendar, making it easy for users to identify and differentiate between various events at a glance. This visual aid simplifies the process of understanding the nature of events and their significance.

Synchronization with Microsoft Outlook:

Our Event Calendar seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Outlook, allowing users to synchronize events effortlessly. This ensures that users who rely on Outlook for their daily scheduling can stay updated on all relevant events within our software, promoting consistency across different platforms.

Export to Outlook:

Items currently displayed will be exported to an Outlook calendar of your choice. Items that have been exported previously will be updated.

iCalendar Export for Seamless Integration:

Events can be exported to an iCalendar file, enabling users to seamlessly import these events into other calendaring applications. This feature facilitates interoperability, allowing organizations to leverage their preferred calendar tools while still benefiting from the collaborative features Crows Nest.

Export iCalendar:

Currently filtered items will be exported to an iCalendar file (*.ics). Once you’ve clicked the ‘Export’ button, you have additional options:

Send: Initiate an email and attach the iCalendar file
Copy to clipboard for pasting
Copy filepath to clipboard for pasting

Customize and Save Your views:

Select your desired events and click ‘Save Current View’ to conveniently switch between as many different views as you care to keep.

Flyouts Provide Quick Insights

Hovering over an event in the calendar triggers a flyout that reveals valuable information. This includes a breakdown of the actual labor versus the budgeted amount, a comparison of completed and incomplete tasks, and confirmation of material orders received. Furthermore, users can easily check the real-time status of the work order, view assigned roles, access relevant notes associated with the event, or seamlessly navigate to additional details by clicking on specific elements.

Go To Phase:

Clicking the ‘Go to Phase’ icon on the flyout will take you straight to the selected phase (aka: Work Order, Release, SOW, etc.)

Open Details:

Clicking the ‘Open Details’ icon will pop open the Phase Detail window that provides various tabs of information including:

Journal
MR Items
Allocated Inventory
Activity
Budget
Labor
