Beginning with a template can be a way to save valuable time. If most of the estimates you create have the same basic structure of elements such as groups, products, pricing markups, inclusions, exclusions, etc., you can create an estimate and save it as a reusable template.
A common best practice is to begin by creating a project in Crows Nest that’s titled something like “Estimating Template”. In this designated project, create an estimate, configure it the way you’d like, then add the estimate as a Source Template.
