Add Products to your Takeoff
The core of your estimate is the takeoff. It is a detailed breakdown of the scope of work you plan to deliver to your prospective customer. Think of Products as the “What you are selling” and Groups as the “Where the product is going.” You add the products you are selling to the groups within your Takeoff.
You’ll need to create at least one (1) group before you can add products to your estimate. Learn more about Groups here.
Drag-and-Drop from the Product Library
Click the button at the bottom of the Estimates form to easily drag-and-drop products from the Product Library into Takeoff-->Products.
Select a View of your Product Library
Enter text to search, and quickly narrow down your product list.
Click the wrench icon to open a pop-up menu of options.
Choose Select View to pick your preferred view of the library.
Select from several viewing options.
Popout the Product Library
If you have multiple monitors, you’ll find the Popout function handy. This allows you to pop-out the product library and keep it open on another monitor to make your dragging-and-dropping of products to your takeoff faster.
Click the button
Click the wrench icon to open a pop-up menu of options.
Choose Popout.
