Crows Nest requires integration with your engineering and accounting applications.
Import data from engineering apps (CAD/CAM drawings, tables, documents, etc.)
Export data to accounting apps (labor records to payroll, invoices to A/R, purchase orders to A/P)
Estimating can be done either with Crows Nest or with your own external software or spreadsheets and imported.
Crows Nest integrates with many other applications (see table).
Database managed by Microsoft SQL Server, exchanges data with standard queries.
External applications are engaged through built-in Application Programming Interface (API).
Imports and exports Excel spreadsheets.
XML data exchange is limited, under development.
Integration with applications not shown here can be commissioned and developed as a customization.
