Links: Managing Links

There are numerous places throughout Crows Nest where you can manage links. A link can be to another object inside of Crows Nest or external to Crows Nest, such as a file on a hard drive, or a URL to a website.

Some examples of internal links include but aren’t limited to; a Phase (aka: Work Order, Release, SOW) may be linked to one or more engineering drawings, RFIs, RFQs, Change Orders, or all the above.

Perhaps the most common of type of external links are to websites. Examples are endless, but may include websites, such as manufactures, vendors, sub-contractors, and general contractors that you work with, or otherwise come in some contact with during your project’s lifescycle.

Regardless of whether you have your tabs spread horizontally across your screen or stacked vertically on the right-hand side of your screen, the anatomy of the Links tab is the same.
