Drag-n-Drop and Sending Emails are not Working

Problem

Sending an email using Outlook from Crows Nest causes the following error:

Message: 

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)).

Target:

System.MarshalByRefObject AllocateUninitializedObject(System.RuntimeType)

OR

Dragging files or folders into Crows Nest does not work and the "not allowed" cursor is shown.

Both of these issues can be caused by a Windows Security conflict if UAC (User Account Control) is turned on in Windows and Crows Nest has been opened using the "Run as administrator" option.

Solution

Make sure that Crows Nest is not configured using Compatibility settings or using the Run as Administrator option.
