  • Foreign Currency POs – Added support for selecting a foreign currency on a PO. Add available currencies under Options > Purchasing > Foreign Currencies. Set a Default currency per Vendor on the Vendor info under the Business to have it automatically selected on the PO, or manually select it on the PO under the Vendor. When selected, an Exchange Rate is required form the user. It will pull in the most recently used rate from a previous PO for the same currency. When a currency is selected a second set of Price and Extended Price columns will be added on the Items table showing the calculated foreign currency. You can edit any of the Price or Extended Price columns and it will recalculate the other ones. The foreign currency is calculated and shown on screen only, all internal data in the database will be stored in the default base currency.

  • New Permission Business Vendor – A new permission has been added to restrict access to the Vendor tab on the Business form. The database fieldname is CanAccessForm_BusinessVendor and is displayed on screen on the Access Forms permission list as Businesses – Vendor. Note: “Vendor” may be displayed differently if an alias has been configured in options.

    • This permission will be off by default so you’ll need to enable this for users who typically access this area after installing this update.

  • Modified PO Report – The canned PO report has been modified to honor the new foreign currency feature and display the calculated prices using the foreign currency format.

  • MR Queue Note – A new Note field is visible and editable only while in the MR queue. This note is intended to as a temporary note while processing the queue. For example, you could put a reminder of why you are leaving an item in the queue.

  • Estimating Form Changes – Added a table at the top of the form that shows the list of all the estimates on the current project with their pricing. Click the button with an up/down arrow on the upper right corner of the form to toggle the visibility of the table. Added a separate Project Status filter so you can filter by Project Status and Estimate Status. Projects will now be shown in the list even if there are no Estimates created yet.

  • Estimate Edit Multiple Groups – A new right-click option has been added to the Groups on the current Estimate titled ‘Edit Multiple Groups’. Using this option will open a grid with all Groups on the estimate where you can edit all their properties at once. You can add new groups using the ‘new row’ at the bottom of the grid. Standard Windows cut/copy/paste keyboard shortcuts allow you to copy/paste data from cell to cell from an external source like Excel. Highlight multiple cells in the grid and right-click to modify/clear multiple cells at once.

  • Element Selection on MR – When selecting an Element on an MR Item that is linked to a Drawing it will automatically link the associated Drawing to the MR Item.

  • Phase Split Horizontally – Added right-click option to move the splitter between the Phase and its child tabs horizontally.

  • Phase View Custom Filter – On the Edit Phase View window, there is a new button with a ‘filter’ icon on it. If the logged in user does not have permission to Edit Queries the button will not be shown. Click the button to add a custom SQL filter for the view. The custom filter will be appended after an ‘AND’ keyword in the WHERE clause of the query. Example: Project_PhaseTemplate.Description LIKE ‘%casework%’

  • Fix: MR Item Phase Selection – Selecting a single Phase on an MR line item threw an error in the April 1, 2020 update.

  • Fix: Products Memory Error – The Products form was loading images for all products which could cause a System.OutOfMemory error if the PC did not have enough RAM available to store the images. The form now only loads images for one product at a time as the product is selected.

  • Fix: Query Form – Queries were not saving properly after the previous update.

  • Fix: Alerts – Immediately after selecting a value for the ‘Repeats’ field, the ‘Repeat Every’ field was not editable.

  • Products Image Export/Resize – Added right-click options to the Thumbnail and Images on the Product form to resize stored images for Products. If you right-click the Thumbnail area it will resize/export Thumbnails. If you right-click the Image area it will resize/export the Images.

  • Task Trigger Window Changes – The Auto Fill Budget and Percentage are visible in the Task Trigger window so you can modify them before the task is created. Added a right-click menu option to ‘Multiply’ the selected Task in a scenario where want to add many multiple instances of the task.

  • Default Days Allowed for Drawings – Added a Default Day field on the Drawings tab like other areas such as RFIs. You can set a global default for new Projects in Options > Drawings.

  • New Canned Report – A new canned report named ‘Production\Capacity Forecast” has been included. This will show a 5 week forecast including the current week and compare planned task hours to employee available hours.
